Known as one of the most stylish leading men to grace the big screen, Rock Hudson has graced nearly every mens best dressed list in history.
Born Roy Scherer in Illinois, Hudson spent time in the navy as an aircraft mechanic before moving to LA with dreams of becoming an actor. He landed his first role in 1948, but it wasn't until Giant in 1956 that Hudon's movie career really took off. Hudson starred in over 20 blockbuster films over the next 10 years. Hudson later appeared on Dynasty for a season before being the one of the first stars to die from an AIDS related illness.
